Starting a new school can be daunting for both you and your child, but we’re here to help make buying uniform as easy and stress-free as possible.

Before Ordering

Measure your child beforehand using our sizing guides for each garment, and have a list of your school’s uniform requirements to hand.

• Blazers, jumpers and sweatshirts: Measure across the chest, under the arms, all the way around.
• Skirts, shorts and trousers: Measure around the waist.

Fittings can differ between stores, but our guides highlight items that we’ve found to have particularly generous or smaller fittings. The guides also show the most popular sizes for new starters.

How Many to Order

This depends on what works best for you and how often you prefer to refresh your child’s uniform.
Many busy parents and carers like to have a full set of uniform for each school day to save washing mid-week. Thankfully, all of our uniforms—including blazers—are machine washable, so you can always keep a set “for the wash” if you prefer.
We recommend purchasing spares of items that are easily misplaced, such as jumpers, ties and PE kit.

When to Order

For new starters, it’s important to order well in advance—particularly if you’re unsure about sizing. You may wish to buy more than one size to try at home and return any items that don’t fit. We just ask that all returns are unworn and that labels remain intact.

Please order your new starter’s uniform early—ideally in May or June—to avoid shortages later in the year.
Remember, we offer a flexible returns policy, so if your child has a growth spurt before the start of term, you can exchange sizes provided all labels are intact.

Please note that some sizes may sell out during the final few weeks of the summer, and due to high order volumes, this may not always be reflected on our website at the time of ordering.

To avoid shortages and to ensure you receive everything in time for the start of the new school year in September, please place your order before 31st July.
